Symposium 2019: Fundraising Panel

For the 8,000+ nonprofits who use RunSignup, fundraising is an essential part of their events. But it’s more than just collecting donations–everything from your communications strategy to your social media presence can affect your results. At Symposium, we invited some experts from the nonprofit space to share their knowledge about how to recruit, motivate, and engage fundraisers, as well as how to create a culture of dedicated supporters through your events.

Our panelists shared their fundraising experiences from a wide range of nonprofit organizations. Mitch Stoller is the Executive Director and Chief Philanthropy Officer of the American Association for Cancer Research Foundation, Courtney Slack is the Assistant Manager of Events and Business Partnerships at the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and Amanda Sweet is the Executive Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey. The panel’s moderator was Bryan Lively, the Founder and CEO of ACL Squared Consulting, which provides business planning and fundraising coaching to help nonprofits grow and thrive.
