GiveSignup’s purpose-built platform offers the option to easily create peer-to-peer events as a perfect way to raise awareness and encourage participation to help reach your events ultimate goal. Check out three examples below that are maximizing the value from our tools and features.

Aut2Run for Autism

Every year, Aut2Run supports Autism Society Venture County (ASVC). 100% of the proceeds goes directly to ASVC to help improve the lives of all affected by Autism. They promote lifelong access and opportunity for all individuals within the autism spectrum and their families to be fully included members of the community.

Fundraising Incentives

Supporters have the option to join a previously created team, start their own team, or credit a specific team with a donation to help reach their individual goals. To help get supporters excited, fundraising incentive goals were created at four different tiers: $100, $300, $500, and $1,000. Branded swag from beanies to jackets are offered.

RMHC Red Shoe Run

The Red Shoe Run: Rockin’ 5K, directly benefits and impacts the guest families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama. This Birmingham favorite provides several options for participation including an in-person 5K run or walk and a 1-mile fun run, and a Red Shoe ‘Snoozer’ option for participants that like to sleep in on race day and still support a great cause.

Individual and Corporate Team Fundraising Resource Content

To help jumpstart their fundraisers, they provided dedicated pages on their event website that provided participation ideas to help get their fundraising started. They also shared a participant toolkit for tips and tricks to take the next step.

L.A ChinaTown Firecracker 5k

Starting humbly with a 10K Run, has evolved 44 years later, to host the largest Lunar New Year Run, Walk, Cycling and Dog Walk event in the United States. The annual event now attracts over 35,000 spectators and 10,000 participants over a two-day period in celebration of the Chinese Lunar holiday.

Multi-Event Registration With Referral Rebate

Participants have the choice to sign up for seven different events differing from runs, walks, and biking options. With every registration comes a referral rebate opportunity. The rebate offer encourages registrants to invite family and friends to a challenging day at the Firecracker event.
