You can now set an automatically applied discount to cart totals that reach or surpass a defined amount. For example, offer a 10% discount for all carts $200+. Or offer $5 off to all carts above $50. Attendees can still apply a coupon code to their purchase so that your event can incentivize large purchases. Automated cart total discounts give event directors even more flexibility with pricing strategies to drive ticket sales.
To enable automated cart discounts for your event, navigate to Financial >> Cart Discounts. Enable the setting and set your discount. Your discount can be a percentage OR a dollar amount. Note that donations are not included in the cart total. If you want to offer discounts for donations above a certain amount, you can set up donation discounts.
When purchasers reach or surpass the threshold, the discount is automatically applied at checkout.
