Please join us in welcoming Dave Hunt as the newest Technical Customer Service Representative for GiveSignup | RunSignup! In his role, he will manage and respond to incoming customer support emails for RunSignup, quickly create and clearly explain creative solutions for users’ needs, and document common user problems and formalize solutions to bring up to the development team.
To welcome Dave to our team and to give him the opportunity to tell his story, we spent time learning more about him both personally and professionally. Read on to get to know Dave Hunt.
Please tell us a little more about your background.
With a B.S. in sport and leisure management from Eastern Connecticut State University, I have 10+ years of professional race-timing and event-organizing experience. I also competitively ran cross country and track from middle school through college and continue to compete in road races to this day.
What are you most looking forward to in joining the GiveSignup | RunSignup team?
I’m most looking forward to working full time in the endurance sports industry, working with colleagues who have common interests, and helping propel GiveSignup | RunSignup into the future.
Tell us about your hobbies and interests, and what you like to do for fun outside of work.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to live sporting events, concerts, movies, and breweries; taking road trips; running; and more.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
Believe it or not, I can actually fold fitted sheets, and I invariably stop the microwave before it beeps.
