Payment Account Reporting Part I: Download All Transactions per Funds Transfer

You can now download a detailed report of all transactions per funds transfer from your payment account. Each individual transaction includes payee information, amount paid, fees, funds transfer amount, entity (i.e. donation website, race, ticket, etc.), and type of transaction (i.e. registration, donation, purchase). This is the first release of a larger update to give you more financial reporting capabilities at the payment account level.

There are 2 additional phases to this project that will be released in January 2021:

  • Part 2: We will add the ability for payment account owners to add their own codes to each entity (race, ticket event, donation website, etc.). There will be 2 custom fields per entity. These can be used for custom numeric codes, labels, etc. This update is particularly useful for fiscal sponsors and large nonprofits that use internal codes for financial reconciliation and accounting. These fields will show as new columns in the transactions download per funds transfer so that your internal code is associated with each transaction.
  • Part 3: We will include refunds, chargebacks, and holdbacks in the Transactions download. Note that this first version does not include these adjustments, which means the total in the transactions export may differ from the funds transfer amount.

You can access the new report from your Payment Accounts page. Click on the Payments tab. Then click View Payments.

Select a funds transfer.

Then click the Download All Transactions button. This will generate a CSV with all of the transactions in the funds transfer.
